The Best Type Of Business For Stay At Home Moms
I’m a work at home mom (WAHM) and I love it! I can re-arrange my schedule to pick the kids up from school when they are sick or take the dog to the groomers on a Tuesday. I can leave for the weekend or even the week on short notice and with little effort (and still be making money!) I work 12-15 hours a week and my income is growing steadily every month. In a few years (or less) my husband will be able to retire from his job because my income will exceed his. Or better yet, he will join me in my business.
I am a work at home mom who is has a network marketing (mlm) business. I am an independent distributor for an awesome company. It has taken me a while to find the right company and the right fit, but now that I have it is all coming together.
I’ve struggled with working from home on the Internet for years, but now I am really succeeding in my business. And I am not so isolated anymore. I have made the greatest group of friends (from all over the world) who are now my business partners.
One of the best parts of being involved in the right network marketing company is having a support system, from encouraging friends to good company training. And a good MLM company should have an easy duplicatable system that is simple for anyone to learn and succed at.
A network marketing business takes work, don’t let anyone fool you into thinking it doesn’t. It is a real business and it only works if you put effort into it. I tend to be a shy person and a loner, so perhaps it takes me more effort than some, but it’s worth it! I have become a better and happier person because I have stretched myself, and my business has blossomed.
If you are a mom who is looking for a way to earn money at home, be careful. The Internet is full of scams and companies that will only rip you off. Check carefully into any business you enter into. Find a good solid network marketing company that has the best interests of the customers and distributors in mind. Find a company that gives back and doesn’t just take. Find a company that has good solid products that people want and need. If the products are something you can’t find somewhere else, that’s even better. Be sure your company and products are something you can get passionate about and will make the world a better place. Find a company that is a good fit for you.
I found my company, ForeverGreen. I’ve searched for the right company and products for years, and now I know I’ve found it for me. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted in an MLM company, and more. I’m getting healthier and making good money, while helping others get healthier and make good money. Check it out– maybe it will be the right fit for you, too.

Work At Home Moms - One Dad’s Opinion
By Mike Dougherty
For the record, I’m not one of the millions of work at home moms, I’m a dad who works out of the home and at home as well. But for a variety of reasons, I respect and even admire moms like you that work at home.
First, as a mom that works out of her home, you probably do so because you want to take care of your children and be there for them each day instead of having someone else care for and raise them while you go off to work at a career.
Mind you, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a mom having a career, but I have a great deal of respect for those moms who’ve made the often difficult decision to work from home in order to be there for their children.
So the first thing I think you want as one of the millions of work at home moms is to be home so you can take care of your children, your family and your home.
And here’s a tip of my hat to you for making that choice.
The next thing I think work at home moms want is a reliable, sensible and legitimate way to either generate some extra household income or even a full time income.
But because you’re working from home the hours you’re available to actually work must fit your stay at home schedule.
The next thing I think you want is to work at something you enjoy, something that excites you, something you have a passion for.
Imagine being able to find something that will give you the opportunity to generate extra household income or a full time income, something that lets you work when your mom schedule allows. Something you enjoy, that excites you, that you have a passion for.
Did this dad get it right?
Are these the things you want as a work at home mom?
To be home to raise and take care of your children, to find a reliable, sensitive and legitimate way to earn some extra or even full time income?
To find something that allows you the flexibility you need to take care of your children and your home?
And finally, something you can actually enjoy, get excited about and have a passion for?
Work at home moms deserve nothing less.
Being a good mom is one of the most difficult jobs in the world, if not the most difficult. And the responsibility of raising your children to become good, successful and happy members of society is really the ultimate responsibility.
At the end of the day, you can take pride in your valuable contribution to your child’s well being and future. And you can count your blessings because you’re able to be at home for your children.
It’s also nice to know that you do have some wonderful choices when it comes to working out of your home. I know of several work at home moms that have turned something they enjoy, something they have a passion for, into their success.
My wish for you is that you can turn your passion into your success. To learn how, just click on the link following this article. You’ll be very glad you did.

Collectible Cookie Jars As A Home Based Business
I doubt there are any kids out there in this world, who do no like eating cookies. Dunking cookies in milk is synonymous with snacking and children. During my childhood, some fifty or so years ago, cookies meant the heavenly things that grandma used to bake every afternoon. Today, when time is of paramount importance, cookies are usually found in grocery stores, ready to eat.
Collectible Cookie Jars Today
During my days, cookies were baked and if any were left (which was extremely rare) were stored in beautiful large, transparent, glass cookie jars. After my grandmother’s demise, the cookie jars almost disappeared from our kitchen shelves. What replaced them were ready-made cookie jars of all shapes and sizes. One day, when my mother was doing her spring-cleaning of the kitchen, we put together some 50-cookie jars of all shapes and sizes, which had been collected inadvertently over the last several years.
The pile of these jars was meant to be sent for recycling; instead, they became my collection of collectible cookie jars. Instantly I had a ready-made collection of 50 plus collectible cookie jars which made me feel very happy. After this incident, wherever I would see a cookie jar, I would ask for it to be part of my collection. Very soon, my friends and relatives were contributing on an average of two to five cookie jars per month.
In this way, my collection overgrew the space I had for it in my room, and my dad offered to make a display case for my collectible cookie jars in the garage, to which I happily agreed. By the end of the year, the display case was holding 387 collectible cookie jars of all shapes, sizes and material. I had plastic, metal, tin, wood, cardboard and paper cookie jars – and the display was awesome.
My fame spread through my school and the neighborhood and soon enough I had people coming to see my collection and admire it. One day, a friend of mine wanted a gift box for a birthday party – she thought that one of my collectible cookie jars would make a wonderful packing for her gift. She paid me $3 for a round, lovely metal box. In no time, I had people buying jars from me for all occasions.
In this manner, I was making an average of $100 per week with the sale of my cookie jars, which gave me an idea – why not start a small gift box unit and make custom-made gift boxes? With a little help and investment, I put together a tiny unit for this purpose and in six months, I was earning real money. This is how my hobby turned into a money-spinner. Isn’t it great how things work out?
